We regret to inform you that the Gulf Historic Grand Prix Revival, originally scheduled for 31 October – 2 November 2025 at Yas Marina Circuit, has been cancelled.

While we have worked diligently to plan this year’s edition, unforeseen logistical challenges have arisen that may impact the timely arrival of cars and equipment in the UAE. After carefully considering all possible solutions, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the event. A revised date will be confirmed and communicated in due course.

This decision has not been taken lightly. However, we believe it is essential in order to uphold the standards of excellence that define Gulf Historic and to ensure that all competitors, partners, and guests receive the premium experience they expect and deserve.

Our focus now shifts to using this time to refine and elevate every element of the event. Gulf Historic will return stronger than ever, continuing to celebrate the golden eras of motorsport with an unrivalled blend of historic racing and immersive lifestyle moments.

We sincerely thank our participants, partners, and the global motorsport community for their continued trust and support. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Following the recent acquisition of Masters Historic Racing by GPX – which is also behind the much-anticipated Gulf Historic – we spent a year of transition focused on unforgettable events across Europe and the UK. And now, we are pleased to bring the Masters grand finale to the heart of the UAE for another extraordinary motorsport experience. 

Masters Historic Racing’s 2025 Season Climax
The 2025 Masters Historic Racing calendar has just been revealed, closing with an exciting double-header of events in the UAE! We are delighted to announce that the legendary Gulf Historic event will return in 2025 but at the new venue of the iconic Yas Marina F1 Circuit in Abu Dhabi from October 31 to November 2. This will be three days of octane-fuelled racing as the ultimate culmination of our global Masters Tour for 2025.

A Spectacular Line-Up at Yas Marina
For this unforgettable finale, the Gulf Historic will feature all six Masters grids, plus the exclusive Masters Demo Legends, showcasing F1 cars from the 90s and beyond that defined an era of racing excellence and heritage. Witness these legends up close, in an event that promises to be as exhilarating as it is nostalgic.

Mark your Calendars and Get Ready for some Winter Sun! 
The dates are out, so get your calendars ready and gear up for a Gulf Historic edition like no other, with guaranteed sunshine thrown in! Join us in Abu Dhabi next year to celebrate the return of the Gulf Historic.

The success of the 3rd edition of our event was beyond our expectations and this achievement is attributed among others thanks to excellence of races, cars and participants, an enthusiastic public, and the support from invaluable partners. 

Boasting more than 1.200 VIPs over the weekend, 18.000 people onsite, more than 200 press releases, 1.6 million people reached on social medias over the race week, 74 race cars, 100 skilled drivers, 62 Dubai Classics, 3.600 hotel nights booked, and more than 900 flight tickets… Your support and fervour played a pivotal role in making it a memorable occasion for all involved!

With the exciting projects lined up, and the recently announced merger between GP Extreme and the Masters Historic Racing championship, a new chapter filled with opportunities is opening up, and we can’t wait to share this journey with you again! 
As we set our sights on the future, our focus for 2024 will be on actively participating in this renowned historic championship. 

Even though we won’t be gathering for the Gulf Historic in 2024, we are busily exploring circuit and date opportunities, and look forward eagerly to getting back to you. The Gulf Historic family is a powerful force and we can’t wait to make the next edition even more spectacular with your continued support.

At the heart of the partnership for this year’s event will be two tantalising competitions. First, from Wednesday 8th November, members of the Fujifilm community will have the opportunity to win an Arbab Kabir pass, with a total of 30 passes up for grabs. The Arbab Kabir pass offers unprecedented access throughout the paddock, including a stunning classic car show,  immersive entertainment and unparalleled experience of a grid walk.

The second competition will take place throughout the race weekend. Photographers will be able to register to enter the competition on the Gulf Historic website, and then submit their best photograph from the weekend’s action. Each submitted image will be printed and displayed at the Fujifilm stand in the exhibitor village. At the end of the weekend, the best image will be selected and the photographer will receive a special prize courtesy of Fujifilm.

Across the weekend, the Dubai Autodrome will become a hive of high-rev, high-octane and high-energy racing majesty. The racing exhilaration and the elegant retro style of the paddock is sure have heads turning and cameras snapping, and with the addition of this year’s photography competition, the shutter of cameras will be echoing alongside the roar of the engines.

Please note that after this deadline, your fuel quantities cannot be guaranteed.
